Mexico Trip: 4th and final phase

Well, this is it, the end of the trip, the final stretch. So as I said before, the last 5 of the vacation would be spent at Playa del Carmen. The day we arrived here at the awesome condohotel we just had dinner at a really nice place where we had some awesome seafood. The next day we went to our very last set of ruins, Tulum. But before that we had breakfast at this place called La Cueva del Chango (The Monkey Cave). It was a really nice all natural place, where there's supposed to be a monkey hanging around but I never got to see him. Now Tulum. Meh. Most turisty ruins yet. PACKED with people, more than Chichen Itzá, and you'll soon know why. Tulum are the ONLY mayan ruins that are next to the beach. And it's a GORGEOUS beach. By far the best beach I went to on this trip. Other than the beach there's really nothing else to do here, they don't even let you lay a finger on a single ruin. So after beach and looking at ruins (yawn) we went back to the hotel and used the pool and jacuzzi. I met a nice family from New Zealand that was really nice. Learned a lot of things from them. Kinda envied their life too. :P That night we walked around 5th Ave. and bought a couple of things. I love the ambience around here at nighttime. The heat is bearable, there's nice music and eveything is open till late.

The next day was AWESOME. But I have to admit I thought it would be better. It's just that I didn't get to see everything. We went to this famous park called Xcaret. It's what they would call an ecological park, something sorta like Animal Kingdom. We arrived there really early, since we already knew that the park was huge and it would take all day to get the most of it. We started out by doing a snorkeling trip through an underground river. Water was pretty damn cold, but I continue to think Toro Negro is way colder. I mean, this water you would at least get pretty much used to after a while. No such thing in Toro Negro river water. :P Anyway, it wasn't that cool. You have 2 rivers to choose from, the underground, cavern like river, and the regular exposed river. The lady at the fork told us the underground was better, so we took that one. Mistake. It was cold, boring, dark as hell (thank god my dad had a flashlight) and there were no fish around whatsoever. When we got to the very end (surface area) there were oodles of pretty fish, so at least that much was cool. Since it was the very first thing we did like at 9 am- 10am, the river was empty and made it more enjoyable. Later that thing gets PACKED. After the river trek, we saw some spider monkeys, deer, jaguars and pumas, among other animals they had around. We went to a "Mayan Village" where they rebuilt the ball park where mayans would play a sport that reminds me of soccer, except you have to put the ball through a hoop that's really high up by hitting it with your hip. Oh, and the loser gets dicapitated. :S The coolest part about the mayan village was that they had this display thing going on where they had miniature ruin cities. It was awesome to see all the cities we had gone to from this perspective. We saw all the ones we had already been to, Chichen Itzá, Edzná, Uxmal and Tulum. But for me the best part was that they had Palenque (which was devided into 3 displays since it was so big) The city I was dying to see and never got to. My dad took some pics of me in front of the display. Yay, I went to a mini Palenque replica, and I have pictures! :P

After the mayan city we went back to the car to have sandwiches for lunch since everything inside this park is insanely expensive. After lunch we saw the aquarium, where I got to see lots of fish (obviously) but the best part was seeing the baby turtles! I got to touch them and everything, and we saw them getting fed. They are so CUTE! After baby turtles we saw huge ass turtles, which I also got to touch and feed. I'm talking about sea turtles that could carry me on their backs, they were HUGE. Then we got to the beach. Yes, the park has a beach, it's sorrounded by a beautiful ocean. There was so many people though that the visibility was near zero, and since you have to go with a certain group in order to go the sea snorkeling activities we didn't get to see much here. Instead I floated on an inner tube for a while and drifted off to the the dolphinarium, where I could see people swimming with dolphins, like I did at the beginning of the trip. People had told me that Xcaret was the best place to do this, but I disagree. The ocean section the separate for the dolphins is so murky you can't even see them until they surface. Since there are so many people here you would have spent all day in line for the dolphins and wouldn't have been able to enjoy the rest of the park, not to mention it's more expensive here. Afterwards we showered and went to see a horse show, or how the mexicans call it, una Charrería. There were so many people here and I am so short, I could barely see anything at all. Mostly people riding horses in pretty costumes and doing tricks with lassoes and that kind of thing. After the show we wanted to see the aviary and go through the jungle tour but there was no time. We had to eat something really fast so we could start making the line for the evening show, which according to my dad, who came to this park 10 years ago, is the best thing Xcaret has to offer. So joining the hordes of people he lined up to go to an awesome stadium like theater that seats around 6,000 people. At 7 the show started. Now this was an AWESOME cultural show. They represent Mexico's history. They start with the mayans, playing their game, and it's awesome. Then we see the spaniards invade, then we see the mixture of cultues and then we see some dances and music from various mexican states, to show how very culturally rich this country is. It ends with Mariachis, people riding horses, finaly at the very end they set free like 30 parrots that fly aorund the audience along with confetti while singing "Mexico Lindo y Querido". All the Mexicans there went wild, filled with pride for their country. The show is 2 hours long, but well worth it. Once over we left Xcaret, my dad bought a CD and a DVD from the show to remember it all.

The next day my dad was going to Cozumel to scuba dive, so me and my mom just stayed in late and then went to 5th for some more shopping, where we finally got a hold of the final souveneirs. My dad got back around 4, we used the pool and walked around the beach in Playa del Carmen, which, I don't know if I alrady mentioned, isn't that pretty. It's filled with fisherman boats and people actually got in their with the boats. I never went in. I decided that Tulum would be the last beach I would go into this trip. Later that night we went for a nice argentinian dinner (as you can see we were kind of sick of mexican food by now) and that was it. Sunday I didn't really do much. We walked the whole extent of the 5th ave, and we had our very last mexican lunch, which was pretty good, and then my parents left for another beach near Playa del Carmen while I stayed behind to use the internet and pack. Later that night we had some leftovers for dinner and some wine to celebrate the end of our trip.

A few hours later (since we had to be at the airport at 4:30) we arrived at the airport and we were stuck in a line for 2 whole hours to check in our luggage. We would have missed the plane, but it got delayed. We arrived at Miami around noon, and then our plane to PR got delayed a whole hour. some cabin pressure shit. :S We arrived at PR almost at 5. Looking down at my little country from above filled me such a great feeling, you have NO idea how much I missed mountains, I didn't see a single mountain during this whole trip. I also missed our weather, our food, the coqui's at night...but mostly I missed certain people. ;)

Rubén came to pick me up at the airport and took me to a Mandy's BBQ where I had the best rice and beans EVER. After that we just caught up and had a nice rest. Damn it was feels good to be home.

IT HAS ENDED...almost...

Well, it has finally ended. I have gotten all my responses from the 5 universities I applied to. So here's the final verdict:

UT Austin- rejected
NYU- rejected
UCLA- rejected
LMU- Accepted
USC- *drumroll please*.............................................................WAIT LIST. Ok, so I'm not accepted for Fall 2007, but the offer me admission for Spring 2008. UNLESS, somebody decides to not go to the best film school EVER, and I actually get a space to get into the Fall 2007 semester.

So, what should I do? I already got into LMU, accepted and sent the 250$ non-refundable deposit to save my seat. Well, here's the thing. LMU is an awesome university, much smaller than USC, but it's still really good. When I did my Film School research I didn't come across LMU once. It's not because it's bad, it's because the program is only 3 years old. Apprently it's a really good program, I read up on it and it's right up my alley, focusing on humanism and story telling. Also it's right smack in the middle of Los Angeles, right next to LAX Airport. But the problem was that I wasn't in love with the school. I found out about LMU because a professor at USC told us about it when we visited, so I looked into it and applied. But the fact that I hadn't been able to visit the school, and that the in campus housing options weren't that appealing, made me wat to be accepted into USC even more. It was a real torture, since LMU's letter arrived on April 9th, giving me a two-week period to answer and send the deposit. USC's letter wouldn't arrive, so I panicked and said yes to LMU. A week and a half later, April 21st, the freaking USC letter arrived. So what to do? Go to LMU now in Fall 2007 or wait for Spring 2008 to get into USC? That is the question...

The truth is I am way too in love with USC to turn it down. I fell in love with the univesity after visiting it, meeting the staff and professors, touring it's facilities and visiting a Production class. Not to mention, it is the best film school out there and is one of the most famous. If I actually got in, I don't care if I have to wait a semester to make my dream come true. So, what am I going to do in the mean time? Well that is the new question...

I still don't know, but I have a cousin who works at a TV studio who is trying to pull some strings so I can get an internship, preferably in LA, for the following semester. That way I can still go to LA in August and get aquainted with LA, get settled and used to life on my own before getting on the big boat. Either that, or I stay in PR sorting out my shit until spring 2008. But at least my future is settled. I'M GOING TO LA TO STUDY FILM! YEAH BABY!!! Ejem. ok. That's enough. I'm supposed to get an official letter at some point during May saying if I'm DEFINETLY accepted into the Fall semester because somebody dropped out or if I'm accepted for Spring. So I fall update on my future plans as soon as I find out about them. In the meantime, I shall continue with my fucking classes to finish my goddamn bachelor's degree and investigate all the financial aid crap I have to REALLY get into now, since USC is the best but also one of the most expensive. LMU would have been a cheaper choice, so I'd better get one hell of a grant or loan or something. So the worst part is over, now comes the real ride...

I have to get to class now, so I hope to write some more later. Ta ta.

PS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NARNIE!!!!

Future still in question...

Well, I'm finally working. Yes, ¿Qué Pasta! opened. No, I'm not working there as a chef. The bastards decided to not call me and open anyway. The thing is the same weekend the opened I got a phone call from Oriental Palace, to which I had applied like 4 months ago. So now I'm working at one of the favorite restaurants of all time as a hostess. It's ok, extremely exhausting to be standing up for 5-8 hours, but it's ok. And I get free food. Yum.

So I still have no idea where I'll be in September 2007. So far, NOT in New York, NOT in Austin, Texas, and NOT in UCLA. But still, it's either LA, or nothing. I still await the letters from LMU and the much desired USC. I'm supposed to get both letters before April 15, or so I hear. I'm starting to get really nervous.

So yeah, that's about it. I'm make another post as soon as the next letter arrives. Ta ta.

Messy semester

Well I really feel like I started this semester with the wrong foot. Not that things have been going wrong, it's just that they've been disorganized, and I'm very anal about keeping an organized schedule in my life. So I went to Otakon last weekend, it was awesome, but it could have been better. Since it was my first time and didn't have the time to do teh research, I didn't exactly know what to expect of the convention or what I should be ready for. There were many activities I couldn't go to, I had to leave the masquerade early, not to mention I would have loved to participate in it, but I found out about it too late. I had no idea you could take a professional picture of yourself so it would be posted on the website either. Oh well. Next time I guess.

Other than that, overall it was really great. The flight was just dandy, I got to see the most amazing sunset and moonrise from airplane view. The weather over there was fine, and the twins's aunt was the sweetest woman in the world. The houses over there are beautiful. I wish I could have had more time to cruise around the area. It had been like 6 years since I last visited the US. Anyways, my cosplay as Temari came out perfect, and the hair, well, the first day didn't come out THAT well, but the second day it looked perfect. I could have been more blonde though, but, eesh. Anyways, Yeli did a kick ass job on that hair. We would spend over an hour every morning getting it to look right. The first two days we were all over the convention, I took oodles of pics, there were a bunch a people cosplaying as Naruto characters, there was even a Naruto photoshoot. I was in it, but I still haven't seen me on the internet. If anyone sees me, let me know! Everyone went crazy over my fan, kept asking me where did I get it and stuff. Good job Narnie! I didn't get like specifically friendly with anybody, which kind of got me down. I figured I would at least have made one new friend on this trip. Oh well. I went to this japanese writing course but they just taught me things I already knew. I wanted to go to a voice acting panel and stuff but I never made it for some reason. The masquerade was fun, there were some really funny, emotive (and really painful) skits. I would have loved to do one. If I ever go back, I'm so participating in it.

so of course, I went nuts in the dealers room. Although ironically, I went even crazier in the art gallery where the artists sell their stuff. Cause in the dealer's room they just had some stuff, but since Temari isn't THAT popular a character they didn't have that many things on her, and they had like nothing on Shino and other characters I like. So I got most of the cool original stuff from the artists. no to mention that most of the things they were selling in the dealer's room were things I can get off the internet for a lower price, so screw that. I just bought things I had never seen before.

The last day of the convention Yelitza and I went back to the art section and we had our anime style portraits done. They are so awesome! They came out great. That day we also walked around the harbor area and went to the aquarium. It was nice, only we had bad luck. We got in a half hour late because the fire alarm went off, and we didn't get to see the dolphin show because a calf had just been born and it was cancelled. :'( nevertheless it was still good. Next day we came back to PR, the flight was extremely long cause they made us take a detour because of some military activity. Damn military.

So maybe it was because of this whole Otakon thing, plus the teeth surgery, plus I dunno what, but I haven't been able to like really settle in or get used to the mechanichs of this new semester. I hope I'll get in sync soon. I'm sure there were other things I wanted to talk about but hell if I remember now.

Oh! important. I HAVE A NEW E-MAIL ADDRESS. PRTC WENT BOOM. So from now on my new e-mail is temari15@mac.com please e-mail me here in the future. Arigato!

Well I'm gonna go now. I have to get ready for Beaky's party. HAPPY BDAY BEAKY!

Spring is the time of love...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, not that anybody would care anyway. I've been really busy these past 2 weeks, a lot has been going on as you could guess from my last post. I don't have much time, I have a class in 15 minutes, so I won't say much. So spring break was pretty good, I had the house to myself and only to myself for a whole week. I did a lot of crap, and barely had any time to do eerything. i had loeads of schoolwork to do, plus taking care of the house, the pool, the animals and watering like the 1,000 plants my mother has. It was a busy week, I was able to relax a few times, but I really needed a longer vacation.

That week I wasn't supposed to see Hector Omar until Saturday since he had school work to do. Yeah right. Who were we kidding? He finished his work early and therefore we saw each other on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Monday I went to his apartment for a few hours, tuesday he accompanied me to take my brother to my cousin's house and I showed his the "haunted" house there is up there. Then we went home and talked and I showed his some videos and whatnot. Wednesday I went over to his house after having been aaaall day working with Gigio on a DVD project for Teatro Deportivo, and I showed some of Hector Omar's friends some improv videos. They liked it so much they wanted to improvise, so we played a few games and we were at it until 1 AM. Thursday I finally met his dad when I picked him up and we went to the movies to see Miss Congeniality 2. Friday and spent the entire week working on my lit paper and saturday was the infamous sleepover, or better said weinerfest. I was the only girl who spent the nightm and there were 5 guys there. Yeah. Oh well. We played improv games, had yummy food, played taboo, tried to scare each other, it was fun. Next morning we had some breakfast, fooled around for a while and then everyone except Hector Omar left. He helped me clean up the mess, we watched Spirited Away and then I took him home. Afterwords I went to Gurabo to pick up my brother, to Juncos to drop him off at my grandma's and then back home alone to watch a movie I had to see for a class and then straight to bed.

This week has been well, normal. I have shitloads of work to do and I really have no idea how I'm going to pull it off. I probably won't be able to go out that much this weekend, I have to read a 700 page novel and make an oral report on it. Sigh. Also I'm supposed to get my passport, a x-ray ajd go to the dentist. Plus all the outings the girls are planning around the island, arg! Too much work damn it. Oh well. Hopefully it will all turn out fine.

Well gotta go to class, shit I'm late. Toodles.

Post before bed...

This week has been so unpredictable. Unpredictability is not a common thing in my busy, tightly scheduled life. Tuesday I came to realize how incredibly stupid my theathre history classmates are. The profesor was 40 minutes late, and they didn't want to leave, they waited for her all that time! Well at least half of the class. The other half was forced to stay because so many people refused to leave.I'm responsible, but I have better things to do than to stay 45 minutes waiting for a profesor who has not excused herself or said to wait for me cause she would be late. It's against university protocol anyway, but those damn idiots..Beaky was laughing her ass off at their patheticness. Anyhow, when the professor did get there, she asked what the hell were we doing there when we should have left after 15 minutes of waiting. She gave us back our graded tests. I got a fucking dam C, what I thought I had gotten. At least she said that she would let us repeat the discussion questions, meaning I will be able to raise that grde like 15 points, and I got a perfect on my 25 point quiz. So there is still hope for this god damn class. After I got out I went to Stefi's to finish watching a movie I had to see for a class and then I went to Hector Omar's place to take him his sandals, which he left in my car the day before. He took me up to the apartment, I met his brother and sister, we talked for a while and then I went to my sport theatre classes.

Yesterday was the most unpredictable day. I'm supposed to work from 8 through 12 on Wednesdays, but my bosses and secretaries wee no where to be found, meaning I had like no work to do, for 4 hours! I wandered aimlessly around the library, took a few emode quizzes, I was bored as hell. At 10 I called Martin to talk, and then he passed over Hector Omar, and then they decided to pick me up and save me from my boredom. They picked me up and we went to this fantabulous japanese restaurant in Hato Rey, called Sushi Hana. He thought it was going to be so expensive, because it's a really fancy place, but we discovered a gem of a place! All 3 of us ordered this thing called a Bento Box, which is a traditional japanese lunchbox. It cost 15$. EXpensive you say? Check out what it included! Miso soup. Tempura shrimp and veggies. Either fried or white rice. 6 sushi rolls. Your choice of meat, teriyaki chicken, steak, salmon or shrimp, and some nice fresh fruit, in this case an orange, for dessert. All that delicious, healthy expensive food for 15$?! That's awesome! And it's a LOT of food, I had to doggy bag half of it. We all had to. Anyway, the experience was really cool. Hector Omar had never had any japanese food, and suposedly didn't like seafood, but he loved the sushi and everythig else. Ot was really cool. Afterwords the guys took me back to the UPI, they came to see my acting class and then I took Hector Omar home. The rest of the day was same as always.

Well, vacations have FINALLY arrived, and I really needed them. Shit is that I have tons of things to do for this week, and I'm afraid I'll have no time to rest in between! Oh well. I'll figure it out. But in between having fun, running errands, making a special DVD, and a million school assigments, resting is going to be hard to achieve. I always seem to have trouble in the R&R department.

Speaking of, I should be going to bed. Tomorrow and Saturday are to be very long days, tomorrow I have to wash my car, get home early, rehearse my acting scene with Roxy and Alex, and then I have a date at night. *blush* I'm actually pissed because we were supposed to go to Marino's and see the improv presentations, and they fucking cancelled it! No I'll have to improvise myself and think of another place to go. Saturday I have to take my car to get fixed, go to guitar classes, run errands and go see The Ring 2 with aaaall my friends at night. After that I have to dit down and organize the rest of the weeks schedule, and after tuesday I'M HOME ALONE!!!! YEEEEEAAHHHH!!! Ejem. Ok. So at some point there has to be some party at my house. :P Let y'all know when I have a set date. Well gotta go. Take care everyone.

Wow! What a weekend!

Well this was a pretty productive weekend for such an inproductive week. For the first time in a lot of time I was able to slack off this week. Go to bed at 3, wake up at 11, play video games and chat on the net. No, I still haven't gone as far as watching TV though. :P Friday I went to see White Noise with Stefi, Beaky and Arelis. I didn't really like it. It had lots of potential, but it really dissapointed me. First, I wasn't scared at all. Second, the beggining was really slow, and when it was starting to et interesting and the plot was making sense, the ending killed it. The enemy is never clearly stated, the storyline went haywire, bleh. I dunno. I just didn't like it. There were way to many gaps and loopholes in the storyline, and when the story doesn't make any sense or leaves you genuiely intrigue, I don't find it a good suspense/horror movie. Whatever.

Anyway, after the movie we had our little baking party. We made brownies and cookies, and they were both very good. We ate while we watched the Secret Life of David Gale, which was a really good movie. After that I had to fly home because I had to pick up my brother at one of his friends' house. I'm gonna miss you Arelis! And we'll take your portable self everywhere with us! Don't worry, you wont miss a thing! :P

Next two days were going to be really hectic. Saturday I spent the morning cleaning, doing laundry, shit like that. In the afternoon, like at 5, Ivan and Eric came to pick me up so we could go to Felix's rock star modeling presentation. It was in Ponce, in this really cool Argentinian restaurant. Felix's clothes were really cool, and there were a few other candidates that also had cool clothes. Sadly Felix didn't win anything, but we were pissed off because the jury sucked and they didn't have any idea what they were doing. In between the best 3 candidates from where they choose the winner was a guy that looked and walked just like a freaking girl. Oh well. The real competition is what matters anyhow, and I'm sure Felix will succeed there. ;)

After the activity ended (Eric, Ivan and I had eaten yummy food in the meantime) we all went hotel hunting, cause it was like 11 and we weren't about to go home at that hour. So we found this cute little hotel in Ponce, the Belgica, right near the Plaza. It was nice and cozy and comfy, and only for 75$ the night for 4 people. Before going to bed we walked around the Plaza of Ponce and then we went to La Guancha, where sadly the tide was low and there weren't any huge fishies to feed. :( But we did have an awesome time at the playground where they had the coolest stuff to play with. I was wearing a skirt, but still I managed to join in on the fun. :P After that, we were dead tired and Ivan was very sick, we had to stop at a Walgreens to get some medicine and cough drops. Oh, we also got lost in Ponce several times and a guard stopped us because Felix had gone against the traffic in a one way street. He let us go though when we explained we were out of town. So we went to bed like at 4 in the morning and we got up at noon. We quickly got ready and out of the room and checked out. We went to El Meson for breakfast and then aaall the way to Aguadilla, to the Ice Skating rink. We got there like at 3:30 because we got lost like 3 times. It's not that guys don't ask for directions, it's that the directions were always wrong! People in this country have no freaking idea how to give directions, they SUCK! They point left and tell you to go right, people in this country are so freaking ignorant and inarticulate. It makes me so angry. Oh well. We eventually got there after asking 5 different people. The place is AWESOME. It's right in front of the beach, and brand new. The building is sooo cool! They're still constructing a few things, right now all it has is the skating ring, a chinese restaurant and a pizza restaurant, a boxing room and a gym. Eventually they are going to add in an arcade and a disco. So this is how it works. They let you in to skate in turns, every two hours its a different turn. You buy tickets for that turn and you get to skate for an hour in a half. You pay 10$, unless you want to go to the evening turns, where there are cool lights and disco music. We got there in time for the 4 o'clock turn, but it was full, and the eariest one available with vacancy was the 8 o'clock one. so we had to wait until 7:15 to pick up our skates, and it was 3:30! We decided to go to Crash Boat to kill time.

So we went to Crash Boat, and Eric and I were the only ones with bathing suits. Eric lent Felix his suit and we both swam in the beach, we jumped from the pier, we went to a cave, played in the sand, it was lots of fun, we even saw the pretty sunset. After that, I showered and got dressed and we went to the skating rink again. We still had 2 more hours until 8, so we toured the place and ate some pizza. Then we got our skates on and away we went!

Ok, I knew I was going to sucl at this because I never roller bladed in my life, and its pretty much teh same thing. I went ice skating once when I was 6, so that pretty much says it all. Anyway, I was holding on to Eric's hand like my life depended on it. I had Ivan on one side and Eric on the other. I had no balance at all, and I just couldn't move! Eventually I got the nag of it, and I was moving pretty fast and had balance, but only if I was holding someone's hand. I evetually was able to skate alone, but I felt to scares, insecure and helpless and I would eventually panic and head straight for the wall. So basically I spent the entire hour in a half skating attached to Eric's hand. :P Felix was skating around like a pro, and Ivan had to get out a few times because he was sick and the cold air was making him worse. Oh, Eric and I were the only ones in our group that actually fell. We fell only once though, and I hit my knees really hard! What happened was that I lost balance and I got it again, but trying to stop to grab me Eric lost his balance and fell and I fell with him. Hehe. It was actually kind of funny. But there were people there that REALLY fell and HARD! Head first, the entire body belly down SLAP onto the ice. Ouch. They have a really good control crew in there though they tell you where and how to skate and they try to grab you if you're falling and they carry you out if you hurt yourself. I was pissed at one of them though cause he was always telling Eric to let go of me. Ass. Anyhow, we finished at 9:30, and began the drive back. I was teh designated driver this time because everybody else was tired. And so we drove back home and that was it. IT was a really cool and tyring weekend. We all have to go back some time, the whole group! It was really cool.

Oh! Last night I had the funniest dream. I dreamt Fabi was over here and she was about to leave, and as a going away thing we took her shoe shopping. Stefi, Arelis, Beaky, and even Vanessa were there. So we took Fabi to this cool boutique where they sold extremely weird shoes. She even tried on those weird wooden shoes that they use in Holland. We were frustrated because she couldn't decide on a pair already and after the shoe shopping we were having a big bash. Eventually she bought these thigh highkhaki colored boots. :P Hehehe. It was so funny.

Oh well, I hope that everybody is doing ok. Take care everyone.
Well I hope everyone had fun this weekend, take care.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everybody. So, as sucky as this holiday season has been, I could have sworn New Years was going to be hell. It turned out pretty good this time though. This was the first New Years I didn't spend at church. My parents decided to have this big party at my house and the entire family came over. We had dinner and we all had party hats, horns, confetti, noise makers and sparklers for when the clock hit midnight. In the mean time we saw this very creepy movie called Mind Hunters. It was pretty cool though. When the clock hit 12, it was amazing. We went to the balcony and we could see fireworks coming from EVERYWHERE! It was spectacular! The great view from my house really paid off. Even our next door neighbors had fireworks. At 12 Beatriz called me and then Felix. I was so happy! *sniff* Then I called Eric, Stefi and Arelis but none of them picked up the phone. After saying bye bye to 2004 we finished watching the movie, drank cider and talked and talked like until 4 AM. My entire family spent the night at my house, some in a tent outside, others in the guest room, others in the family room and the office, others in my brother's room and my cousin and I stayed in my room. It was fun. Next day we woke up at 9 and had some nice pancakes and bacon. After breakfast Auremi and I just went back to sleep and woke up at 12.

So that day my cousin and I were supposed to go to the fair, but the year 2005 decided to start out all wet. It was raining all over the island that day so we ended up going to Chilis with Stefi, Felix, Ivan and Eric. We had fun. After eating I left Auremi at Osvaldos' house and we went to my house for the sleepover. Beaky and Arelis took a while in getting here and I had invited the guys to come and play so they got here first. We played a few video games and chatted while the other girls got here. When they got here we played Pictionary, drank some wine coolers and got a little tipsy, had pillow fights and had a few snacks. Later on we played fortune telling games, we played with my brand new pool table, we watched TV for a short while and had cookies and milk since we weren't able to make the brownies. :( My oven is still busted and I completely forgot. Shit. Oh well. We had fun anyway. I offered the guys to stay over, but Ivan wanted to leave because they had something to do the next day and bla bla bla, so the guys left like at 4 AM. Us girls kept chatting and stuff like until 5. Next day we woke up like at 10:30 and we went to Denny's for a nice brunch. Afterwords Beaky and Stefi went home because their moms were beginning to complain and Arelis stayed so Nadia and I could do that interview we need for her wedding video. We had to make up Arelis and everything! It was fun! After that, Nadia, Carlos, Arelis and I played a round of Pictionary, then a board game called Settlers. It was fun too, but Arelis had to leave at the beginning of the game. :( After the game Carlos, Nadia and I saw some improv videos and then they left.

Today I went with Arelis, Beaky, Stefi and her family for a yummy chinese lunch to celebrate Arelis's design that she is using on her cards and realtor signs. We went to Kimpo Garden because the Tokyo Grill was closed. It was really good, the service was great, so was the food and the prices were amazingly cheap for such a nice restaurant. After the lunch/dinner thing we went to Stefi's and watched The Little Mermaid. Then I took Beaky home and went home myself.

So, year 2005 has gone pretty well so far.

Things to be thankful for in 2004:

1. I met the great group of friends I have the pleasure of sharing with today. It's been a wonderful year full of fun activities and unique moments thanks to all of you. This year has been one of the best in my life and you have been the main reason for it. *sniff* From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for being such great friends, for loving and accepting me for who I am and for making my life so special, fun and full of adventure. You have really made me really happy. :)

2. We finally moved into the new house. I finally got to have my dream oriental theme room, a big house where I can throw kick ass pool parties and pijama parties and what not, I'm slightly closer to everybody in the metropolitan area and it's a really nice and comfortable house. It's been really cool so far!

3. My studies. So far I've aced my classes this year. First semester I only had 1 B and 5 A's, and the second semester I had A's in all 6 classes. It's been really hard, but it's been worth it. I've been taking a bunch of classes that I love and each semester I meet even more great professors that have made my studies a lot more easygoing, fun and pleasurable. I just absolutely love what I'm studying! And no matter how much of a bitch it can be sometimes, I really love my univeristy.

4. My job. I have to be thankful for my first job, and one that's so easygoing and comfortable and that gives me some nice extra money that I plan on saving for a very important cause. :)

5. My parents. Even though like all parents my parents can be a mayor pain in the ass, and like all parents they have their pros and cons, I have to be very thankful for my parents. During this year they have given me a lot of freedom and they treat me more like an adult. Sure, they still treat me like the nanny and housekeeper and sometimes I have to admit I don't feel that loved, but at least they let me live my life and make my own decisions, and I've had a lot of freedom by their part and they always support me in what I want to do with my future and I really appreciate that.

6. MY PUPPIES! Thankfully I finally found Nannette a nice boyfriend with a very nice owner, making possible the birth of Lunnette and Hulky! Thankfully the two puppies were born perfectly healthy and without any trouble at all, and they are ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! Hopefully we'll be able to get her pregnant again at some point, see if she has some more puppies this time.

7. The improvisation theatre experience. Joining that group has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Even though it cut my free time in half and gave me a shitload of stress during the festival and deprived me of a lot of sleeping time it has defenetly been one of the best experiences ever. I've learned so much, met tons of great people, made lots of new friends, it helped me manage the stress produced by my classes and daily life. Not to mention that now I get to be an attention whore on stage! :P Eventually it will even give me the chance to travel and go new places. It really has been a great privilege.

8. Eric. I have to be thankful for all the love he gave me, for believing in me, having faith in me, always being there for me and helping me every single time I needed him, and for being such a great friend even after all that I put him through. I thank him for those great 4 months he was by my side and I will never forget him for that. You'll always have a special place in my heart.

9. Personal shit. I feel I'm coming out of an emotional gap I have been trapped in for many years now. I finally feel I'm starting to see the light, I've had the pleasure to feel things I thought I would never feel again, it's like I'm a kid again. I finally have hope again, I have lots of hope and dreams for the future.

Things to look forward to this new year and resolutions for 2005:

1. Lose a little weight or at least tone my muscles a little. I want to be able to fit into my old clothes again.
2. Continue to get great grades, hopefully I'll have great professors and very interesting classes.
3. Learn to control my money spendings.
4. Save like $1,000 dollars for my trip to Mexico.
5. Go to Mexico and stay like for one month. Hopefully I'll be able to go to Palenque, Oaxaca and other places I really want to go to. Also I hope I get to share with the great bunch of Mexican friends I met during the festival.
6. Sign up for level 3 in Teatro Deportivo and continue to partake in that great experience. I look forward to developing my skills and become a much better improvisor and actress.
7. Learn how to use Final Cut Pro so I can be a more profesional editor by the time I have to video tape and edit Nadia's wedding.
8. Finally get my gears going and my lazy ass up so I can practice both Japanese and the guitar. I look forward to taking both Japanese and guitar classes this year, probably during the semester because during summer I probably won't be in the country much.
9. Go to Europe with my family in July. My family is planning on going to Europe in July, but it's still not for sure. Stefi is also going to Europe in July, so hopefully we can do it together in some way.
10. Nadia's wedding. I'm really looking forward to seeing my best friend get married. *sob* I feel so old!!! :P
11. Have lots of parties! This year I'll make sure to throw one hell of a Valentine's Day Party and hopefully I'll be able to throw that Asian Themed Birthday Party I've always wanted, to celebrate my legal age. Jeje. Oh! And let's not forget Nadia's bachelorette party...buahahahahahaha.....
12. Take all my friends to Culebra in the summer and go back to Toro Negro at some point.
13. Hopefully I'll be able to fall in love and have a real and long lasting relationship so I can get married at some point in my life. Oh well. I can dream. If not this year then maybe the next, or the next, or the next...

Well then that's all I can think of now. I hope everyone has a great year and that they can be thankful to God for the one that we just finished. I know I am! Best wishes to everyone, and remember, new year, new hopes, new chances, new experiences, new people, new friends, new knowledge...their is so much too look forward to! Take care, hugs and kisses, love you all! happy new year everybody!

PUPPIES!

DAMN! God has this week been overcluttered! Finally I have some time to BREATHE. Well, I have way to much shit to tell and I'm not going to do it now for I need to get some much much needed SLEEP. Last night the Improv Festival ended and the farewell party was at my house. The group left at 4AM, and I get up at 4:30 every morning, so I just finished a paper I had to turn in for French class, showered, got dressed and left for the university. I got there at 5:15, and slept until 8:15 in the car. So at least I have those 3 hours of sleep. This morning my mother called to let me know Nannette, my cocker spaniel, had given birth. YAY! She had two adorable little white puppies with borwn spots, just like her. She had one boy and one girl, so we get to keep our girl! The puppies are doing fine, Nannette is a great mother. Well, I have oodles of stuff to tell but as I said earlier, I really can't get into aaaaaall that shit now, so I'll make one of those long ass posts of mine when I have another lapse of time. Take care everybody.

Deprived but still having fun...

Today I did my chores, helped my mother groom my dog (which was a disaster by the way) and then I edited the Toro Negro video. Later that afternoon Eric called and said he wanted to do something, I can't really go anywhere so he asked the guys if they wanted to come over. They got here like at 8:30, we saw the Toro Negro video, ate some home baked cookies and played some video games. First we played Zelda, the four swords one with 3 game boys, Eric and I would take turns. It was so funny how bad I was at that game. After that we played Smash Brothers and Sould Calibour, where Eric really kicked my ass. My brother was EXTREMELY annoying today, and I wasn't in the best mood in the world to tolerate his nonesense. Afterwords we played even more Zelda and then, like at 1 AM, we went to the bank and robbed it. HEhe. Na, Felix and I had some, transactions to take care of. :P During the car ride we sang some kiddy songs, that was fun. We came back, they got their stuff and we saw an itty bitty part of the best series in the world, that I hope someday I can sit those guys down and make them watch the whole thing. So they left like a half hour ago, and I'm trying to stay awake because Eric is going to call me when he gets home to let me know he got home ok. I was so glad the guys could come, I felt really down in the dumps today and they really cheered me up. So I am very tired and I have church tomorrow, oy. Well hope everyone's ok. Bu bye.

Busy, busy weekend

Lots of things have happen these last few days, I had not written because I had not been staying at my house these past nights. Thursday, I was planning on meeting this guy, Mel, a friend of a friend of mine who has been curious about meeting me for some while. I had only talked to him through MSN, and he didn't interest me that much, but hey, curiosity killed the cat. So Thursday was a pretty busy day, I did chores and errands during the day, in the late afternoon I got ready and left for Río Piedras. I wasn't going on this crazy outing by myself, my friend was going to, but still, I wanted more company for emergency reasons. So I invited my cousin Auremi, who in turn invited her sister Irilka, who brought along her husband Michi. I had invited Felix and Ivan also. So since Auremi was not ready by the time I was there, she decided to go with Irilka instead of me and meet me in Condado, or San Juan, or wherever we were going. So I went to the guys' apartment instead. They were primping, so I had to wait for them to get ready, meaning I was there like for more than an hour. 0_o Oh, something really funny happened at the apartment though. See Felix had lost his wallet this last week, the one I gave him for his birthday. Thankfully his documents and pictures were returned, (more or less) but whoever turned them in decided to keep the wallet. Felix was really bummed out about it, not to mention wallet-less. So I decided to buy him the exact same wallet again, this time with one of them chains you tie to your pants so he won't lose it again. I didn't want to hand it to him personally, so I put it on top of the microwave but he never noticed it. I put it on the counter where it was much more visible, he passed by it a million times and never noticed it. Grrr. When we were about to leave, Felix grabs the wallet and gives it to Ivan "oh here Ivan, you forgot your wallet!" Ivan was just as frustrated as I was. So we decided to go to Condado so we could FINALLY get to try the infamous fried ice cream, not to mention that I had told Mel about it too. We were very hungry, and the chinese restaurant where they serve the ice cream is way to expensive for dinner, so we went to Wendy's. Felix isn't a big fan of Wendy's, so he didn't eat. Afterwords we went to the Chinese Place and waited for everyone else to arrive. I called Mel, who by the way lives in Villalba, and he still was going through Cayey, so he was VERY late.

Felix left for Subway because he was too hungry to wait and everything on the menu was too expensive. While he was eating there, Irilka, Michi and Auremi arrived, along with Alexis, Michi's brother. They had a few things to eat, Ivan, Felix and I shared a fried ice cream. We tried to give Felix the wallet again, but he kept thinking it was Ivan's. We has a great time, joking and fooling around, we were in the restaurant for quite a while, and Mel and Ideniz still wouldn't arrive. At long last we left the restaurant and we went to a nice open bar across the street that's part of a plaza right in front of the beach, it was very nice, but for some reason, very hot. That's when Ideniz and Mel FINALLY arrived.

So, ok. Opinion on the Mel guy? No, he is not cute, he is not my type, and he barely talks, which I find very unattractive in a guy. Also to top it off, he was there with his cousin who was a lot better looking but a big ass. So we hung out for a while, but my group of people wouldn't really interact with theirs, so I found myself drifting from group to group constantly. My cousins were teasing me that I had to get drunk to survive the night with the ugly guy, so they insisted on getting me a drink. They got me this strawberry diaquiri thing that they said tasted good but for me it tasted too much like alcohol. We joked and fooled around for a while, the guys and Irilka got along great. Oh, and Ivan finally gave Felix the wallet and we laughed and laughed at his incredible despiste. I didn't really mesh that well with the other group, the men just wouldn't talk so Ide and I ended up talking about the university. After a while they got hungry, so we went to Subway. When we got out, Irilka had to leave because she had work next morning, so she, Michi, Auremi and Alexis left. I was planning on going to Old San Juan with the guys and the other group, but they wanted to meet up somewhere with Ide's sister and we got lost getting there and then they wanted to go to Shannon's, and I really didn't want to go because I hate pubs. So I felt like crap because I felt I was boring these guys to death but I am not your usual party girl, I can't get along with normal people. So I just felt bad because Mel's cousin was visibly pissed off so I told them to do what they wanted and I just went to the guys apartment. Then the real fun began! Hehehehe! We played DDR, we played Stop, cards, and then saw a Goofy Movie. Oh, I also bought a bottle of fruity wine to forget the hideous nite. Hehe. We went to bed at 6:30 in the morning. 0_o

Unfortunately, next morning I had Japanese. So Ivan's cell phone alarm from hell woke me up at 9, I took a shower and got dressed, went back to bed and left at 9:45. I got to the university at the same time as Beaky, we took Japanese and I went back to SLEEP. I got up like at 2, I was hungry as hell so I went to El Mexicano, came back, ate and then I saw anime waiting for Eric to arrive so we could go pay the camping permit. But Eric was late and the office would have already closed so we're going to have to pay on Monday, our last day to pay. So instead we played more DDR and then I showered and got ready for Fabi's party. I left the apartment and went to Steffi's, where we waited for Beaky to show up with Rodolfo and Vanessa. When they got there we went to Fabi's where there were loads of yummy food waiting for us, home made cherry pie and rasberry thingamajobbers, purple and green cookies, and chips. We ate, and watched the infamous MacBeth video. Everyone laughed like crazy, and then we laughed even more seeing all these people in a 6th grade video. It was hillarious. After visiting Memory Lane we saw Zoolander. Boy did that movie SUCK. I hated every minute of it. After the movie we ate pizza, and since I forgot the Pictionary (WHY!)then Fabi and I imrovised a Charades game. We wrote the categories, put them in baggy and played. It was really funny, especially when Felix decided to pitch in and started writing insanely sick categories for us to act out. Eeeek. It was lots of fun. When we left Fabi's there was a big ass frog on the front lawn, I touched it and Vana and I took some pictured of it. HEhe. I know, we're freaks and proud of it. So the bad part about this evening was when we got back to Steffi's and her mom was piiiiiissed. She told her that next time she would have to arrive at 10. It was only 12:30! Oh well, she was very angry and I felt really guilty and bad, since I was the designated driver. Anyhow, Steffi and I watched Monk, Mad About You, we talked for a while, read jokes on my computer and went to bed.

Today, I got up early at Steffi's had breakfast and left. Back home I helped my mom clean like hell and I had to go to cotsco and buy a new Vacuum cleaner. I fell in love with the cutest mini DV digital camcorder, it had been my top option when I had been surfing for options on the net, but I had no idea it was so TINY! It is so CUTE!!! Anyway's, it was in 399$ which is really good for a digital mini DV camcorder with so many features, so I bought it. YAY! I GOT MY OWN CAMERA NOW! XD After that, got home, did some more cleaning, cleaned the pool, and then I went to pick up my brother at Auremi's house, way up the mountain. I played DDR there for a while and got my very first AA! in Sandstorm! The day before I got my very first 200 combo in Matsuri Japan. I felt so pround of myself! Hehe. I went back home, ate something and watched Harry Potter 2 with my brother, cleaned my room, and that's about it.

Tomorrow is Father's Day, I have to wake up really early because we're having breakfast at Denny's before church. So I should go to sleep soon. I've been thinking too much about Steve lately, last night I had another dream, one where he actually called me to talk. Never happening. This is becoming very sickening and frustrating. sigh. Well, gotta go. Take care eveyone.

Yum yum time!

Yesterday Beaky came over so we could edit the infamous MacBeth video. We still haven't finished, but it's coming out great. I was really funny! I feel like a more complete person now that I've watched it, I understand a few inside jokes like the "See I'm practically perfect in every way" or the "I don't want to get my pants dirty. It was really cool. We edited like from 11-3 and then Bea left because she had work. After she left I played a little DDR before my cousin left with her PS2 *sob*, took a bath and got dressed fot the Outback outing. I took my cousin home, went down the mountain and picked up Fabiola. Then we went over to Steffi's and picked her up. When we got to Los Paseos, Nadia, Carlos and Eric were already there. We waited for Arelis and Vana to arrive so we could get a table. It was really funny because most of us decided to really dress up and others didn't. Steffy looked like a flamenco dancer with her red shirt and black skirt, Arelys and I both had chinese tops, Vanessa was all pretty and Eric was well, normal. On the oher hand Nadia was as casual as she could be and Carlos had his work uniform on. So Nadia was like "You didn't tell me you were going to dress up! I would have worn my chinese top too!" Hehe. Anyhow, everything was delicious, I can't wait till lunch time so I can eat my leftovers. :P After dinner we had a big ass chocolate cake with a big ass ice cream ball for desert. It wasn't THAT good, I've neber really liked Outback's desserts.

After paying we took some pictures in front of the cute fountain nearby and we all acompanied Fabi to the supermarket. Then we went into Walgreens and then we left. I had to take Fabi home, and Arelis didn't want the night to end so she followed me and Steffi in her car with Vana. We took Fabi home and I saw her very pretty purple room. I like! We talked about the weirdest things, Steffi came out of that house traumatized. :P After that Arelis didn't want to go home, she wanted to keep on partying but Steffi had to get home and I was driving back to my house so I couldn't leave late. So we said byebye to Arelis until December *sob* and we left. I took Steffy home and came back home.

Back home I talked on the phone for a while and Arelis sent me all my pool party pictures. I had to wait for them to upload so Eric kept me awake on the phone like until 2 in the morning when they finished uploading. I don't know if she ever got the ones I sended her, because I left the computer on but in the morning the screen didn't want to go on! I was scared and had to emergency reset the computer. It's ok now. So now I don't know what I'm gonna do, I just know that at 1 I have to go take my car to get an estimate and I'm gonna meet there with Steffy and her mom cause they know the guy, see if they get me a deal. So that's about it. Gotta go now. Bye bye.

Pool Party!!!

Well this has been quite an eventful weekend. On Friday, I went to Japanese with my brother because I was stuck babysitting him as usual. After the class I went with Beaky and Rodolfo to Plaza, but first we went to get Beaky's check at the bank where she works, where there was an incredibly asshole guard in charge. We went to plaza, ate lunch, changed Bea's checks and then we went to GAP so I could change the pretty pink dress I had fallen in love with but was way to small. The only sizes available were 0, 1, and 10, and I'm a 2. I was so love with that dress that I bought it in 10, and the exact same dress in a different color size 2. Later that day I took the dresses to a tailor so she could make the 10 a 2. Hehe. I'm always determined about what I want. I also got my mom a nice shirt. Oh, I also bought a cool Japanese grammar book in Borders with what was left of my gift card. Beaky was going to stay and get Arelis a present, I had to go because I had loads of stuff to do.

I stopped by the guys apartment to get something my little brother had left there. I went with them to check out 2 more apartments they had seen, but I don't think I'll even be able to rent an apartment anymore since my cousin still doesn't have her dad's approval. So, bye bye pretty apartment and independent life. *sob* After that I went to the tailor, to the dry cleaners, where my brother made me go through a very embarassing moment, telling the laundry women that I have had 5 boyfriends, and that right now Felix is my boyfriend! 0_o Sometimes I just want to stuff him up and sell him. Anyhow, I went to the supermarket and bought some stuff for the party on saturday. I went home and started deep cleaning the pool. I started like at 6, and I finished at 8:30! I had to go into the pool because the succion thingy wouldn't suck so I had to get in and sweep the pool with a brush and pick up all the stones and leaves and shit with the net thingy. When I finished, I was exausted, thank goodness my brother helped by cleaning the terrace and the dog pen.

After all that cleaning I just cleaned my room because I had energy for nothing else. I took a bath and talked on the phone with Eric like until 1 and went to sleep. On Saturday, I woke up early and started the preparations. I finished cleaning the pool, the exact same way I was cleaning it the night before, I cleaned the sorrounding areas and started cooking. I made sugary cream cheese filled crepes with blueberry sauce, my infamous mexican dip and a fruit salad. We also had questios, Eric brought sandwiches and well your usual doritos and stuff. Like at 1:30 Eric arrived, and he helped me put out the chairs and tables and get all the snacks ready. Then arrived Felix, Ivan and Fabiola, afterwords Arelis showed up with Steffy, Karen, Vanessa and Orlando. After them arrived Beaky and Rodolfo, and then finally Nadia and Carlos. That was one BIG ASS group! It was so much fun! Most people got into the pool, originally Felix and Ivan weren't going to because they had no bathing suits, but my mom found some old trunks my dad had and they were able to get in. Fabi fell asleep on my inflatable Orca and spent most of her time there. We smacked eachother with foamy sticks and we fooled around. Then Nadia and I started using my brothers slip and slide and then Arelis and Beaky joined us. It was so cool! Everyone ate everything, and when everyone was starting to get out of the pool Vanessa, who could not get her hair wet, went into the jacuzzi and Nadia, Beaky, Arelis and me joined her. When we got out Orlando finally got in and joined Vanessa.

After the pool we talked for a while and then played some DDR. I noticed that some people weren't really into the video games and Fabi fell asleep on my couch, so I wanted to do something that everyone could participate in. So I borught out the Pictionary so we could play Charades. We played like for two hours and it was a blast. Stefanie got to play Dorothy, I got to ride a bucking bronco, (Eric), Felix did some really crappy break dancing :P oh, and we all got to see Orlando half naked, and I fulfilled everyone's dream of actually punching Orlando in the face! Hehehe. It was extremely fun. While we were playing Charades Rodolfo, Bea and my brother stayed in the living room palying video games. I made some chocolate chip cookies everybody gulped down, and then then everyone left. I never got to see the MacBeth video or play Soul Calibour with Steffi, but oh well, I'm gonna meet up with Beaky anyway to edit it. Eric and Arelis's group helped me clean up the mess before they left, after they left I did the dishes, took a bath and talked to Arelis and Steffi for a while and then I went to bed because I was beyond exahusted and I was falling asleep in front of the screen.

Today I went to church, I saw Steve like for 5 minutes, nothing different, as usual. Today there was no class, and at the beggining the sermon seemed kind of interesting, until the crazy hag started comparing family problems to animals, and domestic violence to WOLVES. "Yes, because as we all know, wolves are destructive animals" Desctructive my ASS. How can you compare family problems to animals? God's perfect creation!? The inly destructive being God has created is MAN. I was so pissed off I just got up and left. I went to Plaza Centro and had lunch with my mother, then I came home and now I have lots of chores to do.

I'm very happy about yesterday's party, we had lots of fun and everyone was there, I wanted to try to get everyone together before Arelis left. I am very satisfied, it was a smashing succes. Well gotta go do chores now, take care everyone.

Hope for the future...

Tuesday night weird stuff happened. First I went to bed late talking to Steffy, and it was a little disturbing because we started talking about profound topics where you get a glimpse of the real and very weird and extremist me. She got a little freaked out and I felt bad. Anyhow, that night I had an incredibly disturbing dream, which has frustrated me above and beyond. Steve had not haunted my mind for a very long time, I barely thought about him anymore and I really thought I was over the boy. He ussually chased me in my dreams, but I hadn't dreamt about him in a long time. I felt happy and free from regret. Then WHAM, one night for no good reason and I end up dreaming with the damn boy! And just not any dream, but a dream in which he's with his girlfriend and he tells me that he just realized that for the last 13 months he's been madly in love with me. So he leaves his girlfriend and comes back to me, and I don't even think twice before recieving him with open arms. I felt such happiness and love I haven't felt in a very LOOONG time. When I wake up, I realize I didn't want to, I wanted to go on dreaming, be with him, kiss him and all that jazz. WHAT THE HELL! I thought I was over the damn boy! Apparently not. Anyhow, that dream made me crazy for the day. I got all melancholic, missed Steve and started regreting my past again. Shit! I was so pissed at myself. I had told God to please get him off my mind if it was not meant to be. If I'm not forgetting him, can it mean maybe some day he'll come back? What about that whole 13 months thing? Could it be a sign? Weird thing is, that we were together for 14 months, and we've been apart for almost 2 years, 23 months, so that's not it, and he hasn't been a year yet with his current girlfriend, so, can it be that they are only going to last for 13 months, and then he'll come looking for me? Yeah, this is what I do...I always think way to much and take my dreams to seriously. But hey, my dreams have predicted the future in the past.

Anyhow, that thought had my mind occupied most of the day. On top of that, I was a discussion with Beaky that put even more things on my mind, and I really hope we can work things out because the situation is really starting to seriously worry me. That day I woke up so disturbed because of the dream that I stayed on my bed chatting on internet from 11-3:30, I had no breakfast or lunch. Then I got out of bed, got ready bought some food at Wendy's and went to leave my brother at my aunt's so I could afterwords go to Steffy's. We were going to see a play, Stefi, Arelis, Ivan, Felix and me. Yet at the last minute, Felix tells me that he doesn't know if he can go because he's at Kmart buying stuff, but that Eric was going. Yet I was worried because I had no idea where the play was and Felix was going to show me, so he told me to call him when I got there and he would explain how to get there. We picked up Eric who left his car in front of the guys apartment and we went looking for the theatre and got really lost. I called Felix and he just kept telling me to towards la Central when I don't know where it is. I was in such I foul mood I snapped at him (sorry about that sweetie) and just passed the phone. Eventually we found it on our own, and we were able to see the play, even though the asshole of the parking kept telling us we had not paid when we had, and I was already so pissed off I was getting ready to kickbox his ass. The play was TheatreSport, and it had been a lot better the first time I saw it, but it was still good. The actors weren't as good as the first time, and I found the performance shorter.

After the play we were all hungry, and Arelis was like "Oh, I want to go to Cherry Blossom before I go" and how could I resist the temptation of going to my favorite restaurant. That was so AWESOME! Eric and Steffi tried sushi for the very first time, and they actually liked it! It was weird because the one that everyone likes Steffi hated, she said it tasted like a baloon and almost gagged. Arelis has lots of pictures of these events! Nevertheless, the actual raw one that Eric and Arelis didn't like, Stefanie did like! She was weird. We ate fried ice cream and we went back. We dropped Eric off at the apartment and we fooled around with the guys for a short while. We saw Felix's edited birthday video and me and the guys showed Arelis and Steffi our little "mojon" song. When we were going back to Steffi's, it started raining like hell. I thought my car was going to die on me, but thankfully we got there safely. It was pouring and there was quite al electric storm, so Arelis decided to not risk going home in that and also stayed at Steffi's. Eric called me when he got home and Steffy and Arelis had a blast making fun of our conversation. sigh. When we went to bed I was talking to Arelis about my love life and she fell asleep on me, but oh well, guess my love life will put anyone to sleep.

This morning I wake up and Steffi had made un some French Toast. Afterwords we talked and saw Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It was cool, but it made us all hungry, so we went to Plaza. I ended up going into Gap and wasted way too much money and then we went to Sizzler and I ate way too much. I was going to explode. After eating we bumped into some dudes the girls knew, oh and I bumped into Federico and his girlfriend. Then we met up with Vanessa and left, because it was late and I had to go pick up my brother at my aunt's. When I got to Steffi's I got my car and left, picked up my brother and came back home. I got here like at 9. So here I am, exhausted, and I have to study for japanese and go to sleep early because I have class tomorrow.

As for my mood, thanks to all the hanging out I feel a lot better. Yet I feel a little sad and worried because of the situation going on with some of my friends and melancholic because of Steve. sigh. I really don't know what to do about him anymore, should I just let myself go and not force myself to anything and wait to see what happens or should I really try my best to forget him? I'm tired of forcing my heart intro restraining it's feelings, and I really don't want my heart to turn to stone again. So I guess I'll continue day dreaming until he leaves my heart quietly in the night, someone takes his place, or he comes back. Whichever, I don't really mind. I just want peace of mind and heart. I'm going to put everything into God's hands and hope for the best.

Cleaning day!

Joy! I week is just not complete until it has its Cleaning Day. So, last night I went to bed early because I was really tired, but I just couldn't sleep. Steffy called me at 12, but hung up quickly, and then Auremi calls me like at 1, crying hysterically because she missed Osvaldo, who has only been gone for 5 days. Ohh boy. At least I was able to cheer her up, but I ended up gong to bed at 2:15. So today I got up, not with my alarm, but with my dad who was like get up and clean the pool, I went back to bed and my mother was like a snooze button, coming 5 minutes later to tell me to wake up because the cleaning ladies are here. So I get up, get dressed, clean the pool for like 2 hours under the scorching sun. I took a break to get something to drink, I sat down in front of the TV and discovered that a Japanese movie called Parasite Eve was about to start. I was curious if it was the same as the game, and it seems it is, because it has pretty much the same story line. It was beyond weird, but not too shabby. Seeing it I felt like I was playing Resident Evil. So I had lunch while watching the movie, when it was over I did a few chores, and then I started working on Felix's bday video that I wanted to edit so I can give him a copy. After doing that the cleaning ladies left and I cleaned the hamster cages.

When my mother got home she was all hysterical because one of her very pretty artisan mugs was missing. We found it broken, in the trash. 0_0 meaning that these #$^$%& cleaning ladies broke it, threw it away and didn't say anything, like hoping we wouldn't notice? Oooohhh those ladies are in trouble now, cause my mom is pissssssed. Anyhow, I had no more than a sorry sausage for dinner, and left for kickboxing. The class was really cool today, I loved it. I talked to Nadia for a short while and I went home. When I got home my dad told me the pool was still dirty, so this time I put on my bathing suit, got in and cleaned it some more. I got out, took a bath and jere I am, but I'm starving since I digested that miserable little sausage hours ago.

Oh, not to everybody: I am planning a pool party this Saturday, I already asked my mother so it's official. It will be after noon, if you want to stay till nightfall and get in the pool again cool, if you want to stay over its cool too, just let me know beforehand. Any questions please feel free to call.

Well that's about everything, I'm gonna go get myself something to eat. Take care everybody.

Apartments, apartments...

These last two days I've been apartment hunting. Saturday night, when I was all depressed, Xyomy stayed over and helped a big deal. She was such an angel! She came out of work at 11, went to Juncos to leave her mother, get her stuff and then come back to Gurabo just to aid me in my misery. =˜) We went to sleep late talking about our traumas and she left like at 9 in the morning. After she left I paid the guys an early visit and they went with me on an apartment hunt in Hyde Park. We found like 5 numbers, we called them all but only one person could actually show us the apartment at the moment. It looked good, only it was 500$ and the owners are an old couple who are always there, so it might be uncomfortable. The others told us we could see them the next day. So after apartment hunting, we went to Cotsco to get the guys a neew table because I needed mine back. We found one, had pizza at Costco and went back to the apartment. We played video games for a while and then I left because I had to stop by Steffy's to give her back her DVDs. I stopped at Steffy's, gave her back the DVDs and then my mom started bugging me that I had to get home to clean the terrace. I got home before 7, cleaned the terrace, ate, and then I sat down with my mother to watch a 1985 Miss Universe Ivan had lent me. It was really funny!

Afterwords, I chatted on the internet and on the phone, took a bubble bath and went to sleep like at 3 AM, because I stayed up late talking to Steffy and Arelis about a movie I've been wanting to do for a while now, and I have the script half way and I need help finishing it. We started doing some casting and we found potential actors for almost every character. It was fun! It would be so COOL if I could pull that movie off. I would be very proud of it. I hope I can so it soon, so I really need to finish that script.

Today, my dad waked me up at 10 to clean the pool. I get up, clean the pool and take a bath to go back to Rio Piedras to see all the apartments I was not able to see yesteday. Eric, Ivan and Felix went with me, and this time we saw some very good and very TEMPTING options. Of course, at the end of the day, I was completely in love with the most expensive one, but it is brand new, just constructed, and so is everything in it, it has A/C, controlled access, it nice and comfortable, everything, the room, the bathroom, the kitchen...and its so PRETTY! It's perfect! Only it's 525$. BUT IT'S WORTH IT! Auremi and I are doing our very best to get our paws on that apartment, so I need to find a summer job so I can at least buy the thing until class start and I can get a job at the university, whichn I believe I have pretty secure because if I don't get the one at the seminario Felix is helping me get, which I probably will get because he alwady spoke to him and he said he would interview me in August, Auremi told me that my aunt can give me a job at the library or she can talk to her boss in naturales and get me a job there. So I have lots of options. :) But to get the apartment in July, I need a job, any job, before class starts so I can pay the month of July and have a secure income before getting into the loan. So, if anyone sees a nice help wanted sign, LET ME KNOW! jejeje.

After seeing aaaaall the apartments we went for lunch at Pollo Tropical and back to the apartment, played video games for a while and then I went to Steffy's to use the pool. We got in for a while, thought up a new nickname for Eric to counterattack his "Bubbles" and came up with other funny stuff. Auremi called me up to tell me she wants to go with me and the guys to a gay night club 0_o I really don't know why, but whatever. We might be going sometime this week. So what else happened, nothing I showered at her house, came back home, got dressed and went to kickboxing. WE GOT SHIRTS NOW!! Nadia and I both bought these cute red kickboxing shirts out academy is selling, now we can wear them to the university and everyone will know we can kick ass. HAHAHAHA! After the class I talked to Nadia for a while, and I want to plan this pool party, posibly this saturday, so the twins can go, and I want to invite EVERYBODY, so we can all hang out with Arelis before she leaves next week. so if anyone was a problem for this saturday let me know. I still have to ask my mother, but I really don't have another day because Nadia can only go on saturday and Arelis really wants to see Nadia, and well she leaves next thursday if I am not mistaken. So as soon as the plans are concrete, I shall let everyone know. Well that's about all that's been going on, hope everyone's ok. Take care everybody. Bu bye.

Oh! My neck is all healed! Yay!!! No more pain!
